In the heart of Ubud, Bali sits a little oasis named the Kemilau. Walking pass the reception, you will instantly feel this quiet calm. The wooden and concrete interiors are designed with a very good blend of minimalism and traditional architecture. I stayed at one of the smaller rooms at the 2nd floor but it was amazing enough with its high ceiling, large bathroom and balcony. There is a cafe at the lobby area for late night drinks or snacks if you ever need it. The location is perfect for one to walk out of the hotel and onto the busy streets to visit the many different restaurants and cafes in Ubud. Really a gem to be remembered.
