The Al Seef Heritage Hotel is located in a one of Dubai's revamped heritage district and overlooks the Dubai Creek. Given how modern the city center can be, this place provides a good break from it all with its low earthy toned buildings and small alleys. While the decoration is minimal here, there is a strong charm and local quality to the hotel. Their restaurant serves mostly local cuisine so you'll be in for a treat. The surrounding area is worth a walk too although you will find that most of the shops here cater to a more international crowd. Still, a great place to be if you are not looking to staying in a skyscraper.
